Do you wish you could easily view videos, photos, and mobile content from your smartphone on your living room TV? With casting technology, you can mirror your iPhone or Android’s screen directly to your TV with just a few taps.

Enjoy apps, shows, movies, and more from your handheld device on a larger display with these simple steps.

Casting from an iPhone to Your TV

If you have an iPhone, you can use AirPlay to wirelessly beam your phone’s screen to an Apple TV or certain smart TV models. Here’s how:

For Apple TV:

  • Ensure your iPhone and Apple TV are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • On your iPhone, find the video/content you want to view on the TV.
  • Tap the AirPlay icon (rectangle with upward signal at the bottom).
  • Select your Apple TV from the list of available AirPlay devices.
  • Your iPhone’s screen will now mirror onto your TV screen.

For Smart TVs with AirPlay 2:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone and go to Video and Audio > AirPlay.
  • Select your Smart TV model from the list.
  • Your iPhone content will automatically display on the TV.
  • Casting from Android to Your TV

For Android users

You’ll need to cast via the Google Home app or directly from apps that support casting.

For Roku TV:

  • Download and open the Google Home app on your Android.
  • Tap the + icon and select “Set up device” then “Have something already set up?”
  • Sign in to your Google account and select your Roku device.
  • Now when viewing content, tap the Cast icon and choose your Roku.

For Amazon Fire TV:

  • Open the video/app you want to view and tap the Cast icon.
  • Select your Fire TV device from the list.
  • Your Android screen will cast to the Fire TV.

For Android TV:

  • Download and open the Google Home app.
  • Tap the + icon and set up your Android TV on the same Wi-Fi.
  • Then in any Cast-enabled apps, tap the Cast button to mirror to your TV.
  • To stop casting from your iPhone or Android, simply locate the AirPlay/Cast icon again and tap the Disconnect or Stop Mirroring option.

With easy casting abilities, you can turn any TV into a larger viewing portal for your mobile videos, streaming apps, games, photos and more. Set it up once, then enjoy the bigger picture anytime!
